QUEENSRYCHE - Empire, quarto album della band, viene pubblicato il 20 Agosto 1990 ed è il disco di maggior successo del quintetto Heavy Metal statunitense. Come il precedente Operation: Mindcrime, Empire è prodotto da Peter Collins e registrato ai Greenhouse Studios di Vancouver nella primavera del 1990. Contiene i singoli Silent Lucidity e Jet City Woman. Disponibile dal 25 Giugno 2021 in edizione Super DeLuxe (3CD/DVD), 2LP e 2CD, anche in questo caso la nuova versione è stata rimasterizzata agli Abbey Road Studios e presenta tutte le registrazioni delle session originali dell'album. La versione Super DeLuxe, sempre in box da 10 x 10, comprende 3 CD un DVD con i video clip promozionali e performance dal vivo di canzoni dell'album. Il booklet contiene nuove note bio-discografiche del giornalista Alex Milas che ha lavorato in collaborazione col membro originale della band Geoff Tate.
