I Doors hanno fondato il loro mojo (e Mr. Mojo Risin) nel novembre 1970 quando hanno registrato L.A. Woman in sei giorni al Workshop, lo spazio per le prove della band lungo la Santa Monica Boulevard. Un successo sia critico che commerciale, lalbum e stato certificato doppio platino e contiene una parte della musica piu longeva della band, incluse le hit Top 20 Love Her Madly, Riders On The Storm, e la title track.
Lalbum e stato pubblicato in versione deluxe per il 50esimo anniversario a dicembre dellanno scorso in formato 3CD/1LP, dal 26 agosto il vinile sara disponibile singolarmente.
