Il disco e stato prodotto da Murray Krugman e Sandy Pearlman. Il 12 maggio 1973, l\'album raggiunse la posizione numero 122 della classifica Billboard 200. L\'album fu registrato presso i Columbia Studios di New York alla fine del 1972. La canzone "The Red and the Black", con un testo che fa riferimento alla Royal Canadian Mounted Police, e una versione rinominata e ri-registrata di "I\'m on the Lamb but I Ain\'t No Sheep" dell\'omonimo album di debutto. La canzone e stata successivamente coverizzata dai Minutemen e dai Band of Susans.
