Wolfhound
Wolfhound ha assistito alla strage della sua tribù, i Cani Grigi, senza poter far nulla. E' scampato miracolosamente all'eccidio ed è stato amorevolmente curato dall'anziana Kendarat. Adesso il suo unico obiettivo è uccidere il responsabile: lo spietato Mangiauomini. Sulla sua strada, accompagnato da un pipistrello, incontrerà il saggio Tilorn e la schiava Nillit. Insieme ai nuovi compagni di viaggio, Wolfhound giunge nella città di Galirad. Lì incontra la principessa Elen, sposa promessa di Vinitar, guerriero che deve difendere la propria città dal malvagio druido Zhadoba.
