Cassidy e i suoi cowboy sono ingaggiati dall'esercito degli USA per procurare cavalli destinati alle truppe in partenza per Cuba. Cassidy raduna il bestiame ma un losco ranchero e la sua banda di razziatori hanno già messo gli occhi sulla stessa merce.
