David ed Amy si stanno quasi per separare ma, durante un viaggio insieme a causa di un guasto alla loro auto, si trovano obbligati a passare la notte in un motel dato che la strada su cui sono rimasti in panne non è per niente trafficata. All'interno di una stanza sudicia trovano decine di film horror che sembrano troppo realistici ed è a quel punto che capiscono di essere i protagonisti di un altro episodio dell'orrore senza fine.
