Un giovanotto originario degli altopiani australiani viene assunto nella fattoria di un allevatore di bestiame della pianura e si rende utile. È abile con i cavalli, riporta nel recinto il bestiame sperduto, salva da un incidente la figlia del padrone e se ne innamora. Ma il genitore tiranno non vuole concedergliela. Il nostro eroe torna dalle sue parti, ma tornerà a prendere ciò che sente suo.
