Settimo Potere
Il giornalista Harry Walsh, impiegato in una rete televisiva, per caso assiste ad un incidente stradale notturno del quale rimane vittima anche il senatore Zachary Wheeler, candidato alle presidenziali. Mentre Harry annuncia la notizia, tutti gli altri media annunciano invece che lo stesso senatore si trova in vacanza. Recatosi nell'ospedale dove è stato trasportato il ferito, Harry trova prima le porte sbarrate, poi scopre che la vittima dell'incidente è stata trasferita nel New Mexico. Braccato dagli agenti segreti, il giornalista riece comunque ad arrivare in un misterioso ospedale dove scopre la verità: Il dottor Redding è riuscito a creare degli esseri, dotati di vita vegetativa, capaci di assumere nel giro di poche ore le caratteristiche biologiche di ogni persona.
