Jake Donahue, detective della polizia di New York, porta con se una ferita che non si rimarginerà mai. Ancora adolescente vide morire a Bangkik il fratello Sean, assassinato dallo spietato Khan. Dopo 10 anni Jake torna in Thailandia per una missione sotto copertura: smascherare una produzione cinematografica illegale che mette i scene combattimenti reali per uccidere le eprsone di fronte alla macchian da presa. Jake, che nel frattempo è diventato un campione di kickboxing, grazie agli insegnamenti del maestro Prang, riesce a farsi ingaggiare dalla compagnia cinematografica e dovrà affrontare in un duello all’ultimo sangue proprio Khan!
