Inghilterra, secolo scorso. Un monello, trovata una medaglia con l'effigie della regina Vittoria, si introduce con l'astuzia a Buckingham Palace, con l'intento di trovare la titolare di quell'effigie che gli dà tanta fiducia. La regina scopre il fanciullo addormentato in un salone.
