Jupiter Jones, nata sotto una buona stella, mostra segni d'esser predestinata a grandi cose. Una volta cresciuta, Jupiter continua ad avere grandi sogni, ma si sveglia in un'amara realtà fatta di un lavoro di pulizia di case altrui, ed una vita difficile.
