Dove La Terra Scotta
Link Jones è stato in gioventù un rapinatore, poi ha pagato il debito con la giustizia e ha messo la testa a posto. Mentre sta portando i soldi dei suoi concittadini per la scuola, viene assalito da un gruppo di banditi, uno dei quali lo riconosce e lo ricatta. Link finge di cedere e partecipa a una rapina per tutelare gli altri ostaggi in mano ai malviventi: poi uccide i rapinatori, porta in salvo gli ostaggi e consegna i denari a lui affidati.
