Un parassita parlante, Elmer, entra in contatto con il giovane Brian, instaurando un vero e proprio legame simbiotico: il verme gli inietta in testa una sostanza allucinogena che spinge il teenager a procurare al nuovo “amico” i cervelli umani di cui si nutre, a scapito di decine di vittime.
