All'annuncio del proditorio attacco giapponese di Pearl Harbour, che lo sorprende in pieno volo, il comandante di una squadriglia di B.27 americani ordina agli apparecchi di procedere ognuno per proprio conto. Il " Marianna" si dirige verso la base più vicina, per rifornirsi di benzina e di munizioni ma l'aeroporto è sconvolto in seguito all'attacco aereo dei giapponesi. Dopo aver fatto rifornimento, il "Marianna" riparte. Attaccati dai caccia giapponesi, gli aviatori si difendono eroicamente, abbattendo molti apparecchi nemici.
