Co-fondatore degli Elephant Revival, Daniel Rodriguez presenta il suo primo album solista Sojourn of a Burning Sun, in uscita il 28 agosto su BMG. Sojourn of a Burning Sun è il culmine di un viaggio interiore durato due anni. Nel 2018 Rodriguez ha vissuto lo scioglimento della sua storica band e la fine di una relazione personale che durava da 14 anni. Nonostante molti dei nuovi brani siano ispirati a momenti difficili, l'album è un racconto di redenzione e rinascita. Rodriguez ha registrato l'intera opera con l'aiuto dell'amico di lunga data e compagno negli Elephant Revival Darren Garvey.
