Il cantante e compositore Gilbert OSullivan torna con lomonimo album Gilbert OSullivan. Riconosciuto per il suo grande talento, Gilbert OSullivan è stato sostenuto nel corso degli anni da moltissimi artisti, da Morrissey a Paul Weller, da Difford & Tilbrook a Neil Diamond. Il nuovo album, il diciannovesimo in studio, è stato prodotto da Ethan Johns (Ryan Adams, Laura Marling, Kings of Leon, Ray LaMontagne, Paul McCartney).
