In attesa del film previsto nei cinema il giorno 23 dicembre, esce la colonna sonora originale di Sing 2, il nuovo blockbuster animato di Illumination. La sountrack comprende un nuovo capolavoro degli U2, quella Your Song Saved My Life già in heavy rotation radiofonica, il primo inedito pubblicato dalla band irlandese dal 2019. Inoltre Bono, frontman degli U2, presta la voce a uno dei personaggi principali del film, il leone Clay Calloway. Gli U2 ribadiscono la loro passione per il mondo del cinema, dopo aver ricevuto ben due nomination all'Oscar per The Hands That Built America (Gangs of New York) e Ordinary Love (Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom). La soundtrack contiene altri due inediti - Suéltate di Sam i feat. Anitta, BIA & Jarina De Marco e Tippy Toes di Adam Buxton con Fancy Feelings feat. DSCOSTU ma anche uno special mix di Soy Yo by Bomba Estéro e la splendida cover di Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) di Keke Palmer ft. Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, Reese Witherspoon & Tori Kelly. Il resto della tracklist sono hit clamorose firmate Halsey, Pharrell Williams, Elton John e Billie Eilish, ma anche stupefacenti performance del cast originale del film Tori Kelly, Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon, Nick Kroll, Taron Egerton e tanti altri.
