Un americano che giunge a Ischia per disporre il trasferimento negli Usa del corpo del padre defunto. Ha modo così di scoprire che l'uomo aveva da parecchi anni una insospettata relazione con una turista, perita con l'amante nell'incidente d'auto. La figlia della donna sbarca sull'isola per le stesse ragioni dell'americano; ovvio, dunque, che anch'essi, come i genitori, finiscano l'uno nelle braccia dell'altro.
