Doherty Peter - Hamburg Demonstrations - (CD) Pete Doherty pubblichera  il suo nuovo album Hamburg Demonstrations venerdi 2 dicembre per la BMG/Clouds Hill. Il nuovo album e stato prodotto e mixato da Johann Scheerer (Faust/Bosnian Rainbows/Gallon Drunk/Omar Rodriguez-Lopez) negli studi Clouds Hill Recordings ad Amburgo (Germania) usando un classico registratore magnetico ad 8 tracce (Studer A820) e poi mixato con un Telefunken master machine. Peter ha sempre sognato di registrare ad Amburgo. Dopo aver sentito parlare degli studi Clouds Hill Recordings si e presentato alla loro porta il giorno dopo. Se ne e innamorato cosi tanto che e rimasto in Germania per sei mesi. Hamburg Demonstrations include una nuova registrazione di Flags Of The Old Regime (ora chiamata Flags From The Old Regime) dedicata ad Amy Winehouse. Il nuovo album include anche Hell To Pay At The Gates Of Heaven, brano scritto dopo gli attentati terroristici di Parigi che lamenta il fatto che i giovani imbraccino armi al posto delle chitarre. Kolly Kibber ispirata ad un anti-eroe del film Brighton Rock e A Spy In The House Of Love e ispirata ad un racconto di Anais Nin. Peter Doherty ha pubblicato il suo primo album solista Grace/Wastelands nel 2009, tre album con i The Libertines Up The Bracket (2002), The Libertines (2004) e Anthems For Doomed Youth (2015) e tre album con i Babyshambles Down In Albion (2005), Shotters Nation (2007) e Sequel To The Prequel (2013).
