Eva Marie Cassidy stata una cantante statunitense che, mentre era in vita, non ha ricevuto grandi riconoscimenti per il suo lavoro. E' stato soltanto dopo la sua morte che, grazie alla trasmissione di alcuni suoi brani sulle radio pi importanti in UK, i suoi album diventano conosciuti e richiestissimi. Il suo album Simply Eva del 2011, uscito postumo, una raccolta di 11 canzoni i n versione acustica (con la stessa Eva alla chitarra) pi una versione a cappella del brano I Know You by Heart. L'album contiene anche la versione di "Over the Rainbow", registrata al The Blues Alley e non inclusa nell'album Live at Blues Alley . Simply Eva ha ebuttato alla posizione #4 della classifica di vendita in UK ed stato certificato oro. Per la prima volta l'album viene pubblicato anche in vinile.
