La carriera solista di Peter Murphy iniziò nel 1986 con l'uscita di 'Should The World Fail To Fall Apart' e continua tuttora. Oltre al suo lavoro come frontman della leggendaria e rivoluzionaria band Bauhaus, ha pubblicato molti album da solista. Cinque di questi titoli sono ristampati su vinile via Beggars Banquet. Ogni album è stampato su vinile colorato ed esce in edizione limitata. Con uno dei suoi più grandi successi 'Cut You Up' dal terzo album da solista 'Deep' Peter si è fatto strada verso un pubblico più vasto. Oltre a 'Cut You Up' l'album contiene anche gli acclamati singoli 'The Line Between the Devil's Teeth (And That Which Cannot Be Repeat)' e 'A Strange Kind of Love'. L'album è stato prodotto da Simon Rogers.
