Uno degli aspetti forse meno celebrati e più interessanti dell'arte del funambolico trombettista Lee Morgan è la passione per la musica latina, quella che oggi definiremmo Tex-Mex, dove Morgan evitava i luoghi comuni trovando sfogo alla sua inesauribile vitalità. Già a partire dal titolo, questo album del 1968 mantiene la promessa. Sono della partita Bennie Maupin al sax tenore, Cedar Walton al piano, Reggie Workman al contrabbasso, ed un danzante Billy Higgins alla batteria.
