Manic Street Preachers - The Ultra Vivid Lament

The Ultra Vivid Moment' è il 14. e nuovo album dei gallesi MANIC STREET PREACHERS e segue 'Resistance Is Futile' del 2018. Gli 11 brani inediti contenuti in questo disco sono musicalmente ispirati da bands e album di vari periodi (Abba, i Roxy Music post Eno, Echo & The Bunnymen, R.E.M. del periodo di 'Fables Of The Reconstruction' del 1985, David Bowie di 'Lodger' del 1979 ecc) e, ancora una volta, James Dean Bradfield, Nicky Wire e Sean Moore hanno dato prova di grande creatività compositiva. 'The Ultra Vivid Moment' è stato registrato tra il 2020 e 2021 con la collaborazione di David Eringa (The Who), mixato da David Wrench (Blossoms, Frank Ocean, Arlo Parks) e due sono gli ospiti di questo album: Julia Cumming dei Sunflower Bean in 'The Secret He Had Missed' - il singolo attualmente in promozione - e Mark Lanegan in 'Blank Diary Entry'. 'The Ultra Vivid Moment' è disponibile su doppio CD deluxe hard cover book con libretto da 24 pagine. Il CD 1 contiene le 11 canzoni inedite, il CD 2 le versioni demo dei brani del CD 1.
