Nel 1990, Eric Clapton si e esibito per 18 sere in uno dei suoi locali preferiti: la famosa Royal Albert Hall di Londra. Durante le 18 serate Clapton si esibi con tre diverse formazioni: una rock band, una blues band e un\'orchestra. Eric torno nello stesso luogo nel 1991 con le stesse tre formazioni e suono altri 24 spettacoli. L\'enorme impegno di provare per esibizioni di tre generi distinti e stato reso ancora piu impegnativo dalla formazione per gli spettacoli rock che variava da 4, 9 o 13 membri della band.
