We Will Rock You (WWRY) è il musical jukebox basato sui maggiori successi dei Queen e che prende il nome dall'omonimo successo del gruppo. è stato prodotto da Ben Elton in collaborazione con due suoi componenti: il batterista Roger Taylor e il chitarrista Brian May. Lo show ha debuttato al Dominion Theatre di Londra il 12 maggio 2002 e il successo fu così eclatante da entrare nella Top 10 degli spettacoli più longevi nella storia del West End. Il musical è approdrato in Italia il 4 dicembre 2009 allAllianz Teatro di Milano, riscuotendo anche nel nostro paese un grande successo con le canzoni in lingua originale (tranne due) e con i dialoghi tradotti e riadattati. Lo spettacolo racconta l'emozionante storia di due giovani Galileo e Scaramouche che, insieme ai ribelli Bohemians, si oppongono al potere della multinazionale Globalsoft che governa il mondo intero e che ha bandito il rock e la musica dal vivo. Nel 2012 WWRY ha festeggiato il 10. anniversario, stipulando già 6 milioni di spettatori nel Regno Unito e 13 milioni nel resto del mondo. Il musical continua tuttora ad avere un grande successo e questo mese ritorna sulle scene italiane. Ora viene ripubblicato lalbum con le musiche di WE WILL ROCK YOU nelledizione stampata per celebrare il 10. anniversario, con laudio rimasterizzato nel 2012.
