Il famoso concept album dei Jethro Tull "Thick As A Brick" è stato originariamente pubblicato nel 1972 e presentava un brano continuo distribuito suI due lati di un LP che raccontava la storia di un ragazzo di nome Gerald Bostock. 40 anni dopo, nel 2012, il fondatore e leader dei Jethro Tull, Ian Anderson, ha creato "Thick As A Brick 2: Whatever Happened To Gerald Bostock?". In seguito a questa uscita, Ian Anderson ha portato entrambi gli album in concerto per narrare la saga completa di Bostock e questo concerto è stato registrato durante il tour in Islanda. Lo spettacolo combina musica, video e mimica che danno vita alla storia di Gerald come mai prima d'ora e danno la versione definitiva di Thick As A Brick.
