Perry Farrell, frontman dei Janeìs Addiction, presenta il suo nuovo album solista Kind Heavenì, il primo dal 2001. Per l'occasione, Farrell ha personalmente scelto i musicisti che lo accompagneranno in questa avventura rock: il batterista Matt Chamberlain, il bassista Chris Chaney (Jane's Addiction), il tastierista Matt Rohde (Jane's Addiction) e il chitarrista Nick Maybury. Farrell's own wife and Satellite Party bandmate Etty Lau Farrell, moglie di Farrell e con lui anche nei Satellite Party, ha contribuito alle parti vocali. Molti, inoltre, gli ospiti presenti Kind Heaven, tra questi Tommy Lee, Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters) e Dhani Harrison. L'album è stato prodotto da Tony Visconti (David Bowie).
