Cecilia si sveglia nella notte e mette in atto la sua fuga dal compagno, il ricco Adrian Griffin, con cui ha una relazione abusiva. L'uomo la insegue persino nella foresta ma la sorella riesce a portare Cecilia in salvo. La donna, traumatizzata, continua a temere che Adrian si rifaccia vivo e l'incubo sembra finire solo quando arriva la notizia della morte di Adrian.
