trama:: King Kong
Il regista indipendente Carl Denham ha in progetto di girare un documentario sulla sconosciuta Skull Island, al largo di Sumatra, e organizza una spedizione di cui fanno parte anche l'attrice di vaudeville Ann Darrow e il drammaturgo Jack Driscoll. La troupe viene imbarcata sulla nave 'Venture', comandata dal capitano Englehorn, che parte alla volta dell'isola. Giunti a destinazione, Denham e gli altri si imbattono in una serie di insidie e pericoli: tribù selvagge, animali preistorici e soprattutto un gigantesco gorilla, King Kong, che fraternizza con la bella Ann. L'affetto per la donna sarà nefasto per Kong, che, catturato e portato a New York per essere esibito come fenomeno da baraccone, andrà incontro ad un tragico destino...
