Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool e il documentario diretto dal pluripremiato regista Stanley Nelson sul leggendario trombettista che ha percorso e guidato decenni di storia del jazz (ed anche del costume). Tra performance dal vivo e filmati in studio, interviste a chi gli era piu vicino (tra questi i colleghi Quincy Jones, Carlos Santana, Wayne Shorter e Ron Carter) e rarita filmati e immagini cui gli eredi hanno dato accesso per la prima volta, un ritratto mai visto di un colosso del Novecento.
