In vacanza a bordo di una lussuosa nave da crociera, Alvin, Simon, Theodore (i Chipmunks) e le Chipettes sono di nuovo all'altezza dei loro scherzi, facendo diventare l'imbarcazione il loro terreno di gioco, fino a che non diventano naufraghi su un'isola deserta.
