I Wilco pubblicano il loro nuovo e dodicesimo album in studio dal titolo Cruel Country il 20 gennaio su etichetta dBpm. Il doppio album contiene 21 brani scritti dal leader, cantante e chitarrista Jeff Tweedy e registrati live al Loft di Chicago, con tutti e sei i membri della band dopo ?The Whole Love? del 2011. In questo nuovo lavoro la band ha deciso di esplorare il genere country al quale ? a modo loro- sono stati sempre legati sia pur non completamente.
