Un film-concerto mozzafiato che mette in luce uno degli artisti più visionari e influenti della
musica contemporanea.
Peter Gabriel sale sul palco con 50 musicisti della New Blood Orchestra, diretti da Ben
Foster. Insieme a Melanie Gabriel e Ane Brun, propone nuovi e audaci arrangiamenti,
curati da John Metcalfe, con una regola fondamentale: niente chitarre, niente batteria,
solo orchestra.
Girato sotto le stelle dell\'Arena di Verona il 26 settembre 2010, lo spettacolo Taking The
Pulse è diretto da Anna Gabriel.
Peter Gabriel e la New Blood Orchestra si esibiscono sullo sfondo di enormi schermi che
proiettano animazioni e immagini vibranti, che si stagliano sul cielo buio di una città
magica.
Dall\'intensità fragorosa del brano d\'apertura Rhythm of the Heat, all\'atmosfera inquietante
di Intruder, all\'energia euforica di Solsbury Hill, l\'orchestra affronta emozioni e ritmi con
