Becoming è il nuovo documentario Netflix diretto da Nadia Hallgren che racconta lex first lady Michelle Obama, a partire dal tour promozionale del libro autobiografico pubblicato nel 2018. La soundtrack originale del documentario è stata composta da Kamasi Washington ed è fuori oggi via Young Turks. Sia Barack che Michelle Obama hanno dato più volte prova di avere degli ottimi gusti in fatto di musica, perciò anche in questo documentario cè unattenzione particolare alle scelte musicali (in alcuni momenti lex first lady canticchia Drake, prende in giro il capo dello staff Melissa Winter per essere fan di Barry Manilow o interpreta un brano di Kirk Franklin).
