Prima di questoevento, Stevie Ray Vaughan inizialmente era conosciuto solo nella sua terranatale, il Texas, ma in seguito venne citato dalla stampa musicale di tutto il mondoe invitato da David Bowie ad esibirsi nel suo prossimo album. Durante l\'ultima datain Europa del 1983, la band si e esibita all\'annuale Reading Festival del RegnoUnito dietro ai Marillion e ai Black Sabbath. Questa splendida esibizione britannica degli esordi e finalmente disponibilesu vinile, e contiene anche un\'altra esibizione britannica, di 5 anni dopo, quando i Double Trouble tornarono in GranBretagna e suonarono un superbo spettacolo all\'Apollo Theatre di Manchester nel giugno 1998.
