Registrato dal vivo nel 1967 al Jazz Workshop (noto club di Boston), questo album mette in piena luce un chitarrista un poco ansi:{201C}anomaloansi:{201D}, fino a quel momento apprezzato collaboratore di Chico Hamilton e Charles Lloyd. Ungherese, Szabo suonava una chitarra acustica ansi:{201C}normaleansi:{201D} (sia pure elettrificata), piu da chitarrista folk che da jazzman, e sapeva fondere il linguaggio jazz con il rock, il pop ed il folk (anche quello della sua terra natia) di quegli anni ribollenti.
