Gli Skyliners sono stati uno dei gruppi doo-wop più conosciuti e amati. La loro canzone Since I Do not Have You è diventata uno standard pop e un punto di riferimento canzone popolare americana (è stata registrata da centinaia di artisti tra cui Guns N Roses, Don McClean, Barbra Streisand, Patti LaBelle e Art Garfunkel). Con quel successo gli Skyliners divennero il primo gruppo ad utilizzare un arrangiamento darchi in una canzone rock and roll. Questo LP ripropone, in unedizione limitata da collezione, il loro omonimo album desordio, originariamente pubblicato nel 1959 dalletichetta Calico (CLP-3000).
