Uscito nel 1994, Dellamorte Dellamore (conosciuto allestero come Cemetery Man) è uno dei film più affascinanti e atipici del cinema italiano degli anni 90. Diretto da Michele Soavi e tratto dal romanzo di Tiziano Sclavi (lo stesso creatore di Dylan Dog), il film mescola horror, commedia nera e poesia surreale in una storia che vive sospesa tra vita e morte, amore e follia.
Protagonista è Rupert Everett, nei panni di Francesco Dellamorte, guardiano di un cimitero in cui i morti tornano in vita. Accanto a lui, una misteriosa donna (interpretata da Anna Falchi) rappresenta lossessione amorosa e la ciclicità del desiderio e della perdita. Soavi firma un film visionario, malinconico e ironico, in cui la morte diventa una metafora dellesistenza stessa.
