In 3 giorni a Londra, il batterista e produttore MAKAYA McCRAVEN si e incontrato per la prima volta con alcuni collaboratori Theon Cross, Nubya Garcia, Joe ArmonJones, Soweto Kinch, Ashley Henry, Daniel Casimir e Kamaal Williams e ha realizzato 2 performance improvvisate come parte di uno showcase di 2 notti chiamato CHICAGOxLONDON al leggendario centro del jazz inglese Total Refreshment Centre (TRC). La domenica pomeriggio 5 produttori (LeFtO, Ben LaMar Gay, Quiet Dawn, Earl Jeffers & Don Leisure di Darkhouse Family) sono stati invitati al TRC per partecipare allevento Fresh Roasted: Live Beat Making & Battle, dove hanno realizzato remix dal vivo delle registrazioni di Makaya e delle performance di CHICAGOxLONDON. E stato allora che Makaya ha preso tutti i remix e le crude registrazioni live al TRC per portarle nel suo studio casalingo di Chicago; ha tagliato e ricomposto i brani e ha realizzato un mixtape dedicato allevento.
