Come la maggior parte dei primi album di Fats Domino, lLP riunisce diverse sessioni registrate tra il 1949 e il 1958, che offrono una panoramica della scena musicale di Crescent City grazie alla partecipazione di Dave Bartholomew, Lee Allen, Buddy Hagans, Ernest McLean e Earl Palmer.
