Lalbum New Juke Box Hits rappresenta una delle gemme dimenticate della discografia di Chuck Berry. Lalbum è stato originariamente pubblicato dalla Chess Records nel marzo del 1961. Anche se l'album è stato registrato nel bel mezzo del processo che lo avrebbe portato in prigione l'anno successivo (Berry è stato condannato a tre anni di carcere ai sensi della legge Mann per aver portato una ragazza di 14 anni oltre i confini di stato), Berry dà il meglio di sé in questa registrazione in cui rilegge brani dei suoi contemporanei (BB King, Nat King Cole e Little Richard) e propone nove brani originali. Questa nuova edizione include anche bonus tracks dello stesso periodo: Come On (che sarebbe stata rifatta due anni dopo dai Rolling Stones), County Line, Go Go Go e Back in the U.S.A..
