Questo LP contiene l'album originale del grande Tony Bennett Hometown, My Town (Columbia CS8107), in cui il cantante accompagnata da unorchestra diretta da Ralph Burns. Burns e Bennett avevano gi registrato un album insieme, My Heart Sings (1961). Dopo le sessioni inclusi in questo LP, Bennett e Burns avrebbero collaborato ancora una volta sui seguenti dischi: This Is All I Ask (1963), A Time for Love (1966), For Once in My Life (1967) e Love Story (1971). La loro ultima collaborazione ebbe luogo nel 1999, quando registrarono una serie di canzoni insieme a The Hit Factory, a New York.
