Preceduto dal singolo Ieri, Senza eredità è in arrivo l11 dicembre 2020 per La Tempesta ed è annunciato come lultimo album a firma Moltheni, storico alias parallelo di Umberto Maria Giardini. Lalbum arriva a ben undici anni di distanza dalla raccolta riepilogativa Ingrediente novus, contiene undici tracce registrate tra gennaio e febbraio 2020 ed è stato prodotto dallo stesso Giardini in compagnia di Bruno Germano, successivamente mixato da Davide Cristiani e masterizzato da Giovanni Versari. La sezione darchi è diretta dal maestro Carlo Carcano e, tra i musicisti coinvolti, figurano anche Massimo Roccaforte, Egle Sommacal, Carmelo Pipitone e Riccardo Tesio.
