Un giovane sottufficiale dell'esercito spagnolo, viene degradato per essersi fatto sfuggire una prigioniera. Rintracciata la ragazza, il militare rinuncia a condurla in prigione e ne diviene l'amante. Successivamente l'uomo uccide un ufficiale sorpreso in colloquio intimo con la giovane e fugge nelle montagne associandosi ad alcuni fuorilegge. Ricercato dalle autorità il nuovo bandito vuole sposare la ragazza ma lei non è piu' dello stesso avviso.
