Sconfitti gli uomini-bestia del regno di Lordgenome, gli uomini ritornano a vivere sulla superficie della Terra sotto il comando di Simon e della brigata Dai-Gurren, che si dedicano all'amministrazione della cosa pubblica in tempo di pace.
