Sam, un ragazzino di dodici anni, si avvia verso il consueto campo estivo con gli altri boy scout. Introverso e misterioso, il piccolo Sam non riesce a fare amicizia con gli altri che invece lo emarginano e lo deridono. Pian piano mentre gli scherzi ai danni del ragazzino iniziano a farsi piu' pesanti, cominciano a capire che la vittima è meno indifesa del previsto e il gruppo si renderà conto che sta tormentando il boy scout sbagliato.
