La storia inizia quando Dave Seville, cantautore sul viale del tramonto, si imbatte in un trio di scoiattoli dalla voce indimenticabile. Alvin, Theodore e Simon, questi i loro nomi, diventano i ‘figli’ adottivi di Dave facendo la sua fortuna come manager.
