Il guardiamarina Johnny Firpo (Terence Hill), viene incaricato di sgominare una banda di allibratori clandestini capeggiata da Paraboulis il greco. Ma Johnny è del tutto estraneo a quell’ambiente, perciò decide di trovarsi un alleato: è così che il simpatico tenente s’imbatte in Charlie (Bud Spencer), burbero camionista ed ex-giocatore d’azzardo, nonché suo fratellastro. Circostanza questa, che Johnny rivelerà a Charlie solo al momento opportuno, per indurlo a collaborare. E una volta formata, l’indomita e spassosa coppia darà un bel po’ di filo da torcere al Greco e ai suoi uomini…
