Julien e Esther s'incontrano in una camera d'hotel tappezzata di azzurro, per amarsi appassionatamente e scambiare qualche parola dopo l'amplesso. Un dialogo senza impegno, o almeno così crede Julien. Di fronte alle domande del commissario di polizia, però, non ne è più sicuro.
