Eat the Worm - Jonathan Wilson - Wilson, originario della Carolina del Nord, si è trasferito a Los Angeles 15 anni fa ed è diventato parte integrante della comunità musicale come artista e produttore rispettato. È lì che ha registrato e suonato la maggior parte degli strumenti dei suoi celebri album Gentle Spirit (2011), Fanfare (2013) e Rare Birds (2018). Poco prima della pandemia, il poliedrico artista si è recato a Nashville per registrare presso il leggendario Sound Emporium Studio di Cowboy Jack Clement quello che sarebbe diventato Dixie Blur (2020), una raccolta di canzoni che richiamava le sue radici meridionali, sia dal punto di vista musicale che personale. Con Dixie Blur Wilson torna alle fondamenta musicali della sua educazione e al tempo stesso si spinge in avanti, infondendo nella musica trame moderne e paesaggi sonori estetici.
